So then I sit under a dim lamp

Screwing my eyes to miniature detailing

With a piece of tattered cloth

Sewing nights on

Crossing over

All but frayed hems

Mercilessly tangle

My thumb hurts from the pin

But all that lies are rude stitches

Scarring the cloths I behold

All beyond the hands of life

All beyond me

Rude Stitches
