Why The Criterion Stands Out

Since its inception in 2010, The Criterion has remained a cornerstone of scholarly debate in English Literature, Linguistics, and the Humanities. As we enter our 17th year of continuous publication, we are reconstituting our editorial board to reflect the evolving multidisciplinary landscape of global research.

🎉 Crossref Membership — A Milestone for The Criterion

The Criterion is now an official Crossref member journal. Every published research article receives a permanent Crossref DOI (prefix: 10.66376), with metadata automatically propagated across the global Crossref ecosystem. As a Crossref member, the journal’s metadata is now harvested by all major indexing services and academic databases that integrate with Crossref — significantly enhancing the visibility and impact of every article we publish. Being on the editorial board of a Crossref-member journal is a mark of academic prestige and a valuable credential for your professional portfolio.
